Off-Campus Access

During the COVID-19 outbreak, the following help and resources are available for Tyler students to supplement in-person services at the Tyler Libraries. Please continue to check the college's website on the COVID-19 changes.

Ask-a-Librarian Chat

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, a librarian is waiting online to answer your questions in a personal, confidential chat.

  • Available on the quick chat widget on left side of page
  • More information on the Tyler Libraries Ask-a-Librarian FAQs page
  • Direct messaging (text-based) with options for video conference and screen sharing

Connect directly with the Tyler Libraries through the Ask-a-Librarian chat Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. After this time, you can still chat with a librarian, but it may be a librarian from another VCCS college or academic institution. If you want to connect with the Tyler Libraries outside of these hours, please make an appointment.
