Black Hollywood: Film Screening and Discussion

Join us in viewing and discussions on the documentary “Black Hollywood”. Between 1910 and 1950, over 150 independent film companies were organized for the specific purpose of producing all-black cast films. Of the 400 black-produced films that were made, Oscar Micheaux produced 10 percent of them. This documentary by Tony Brown examines them.
